Back pain is something that is targeting more and more people with every passing day. One thing people should know is that with an increasing age these sort of problems might occur like if you are above 50 then it is quiet normal and you need to take more rest and work less but if you are still in your 30s or so then this is something to worry about since your muscles and bones are still strong enough to defeat such problems easily. A lazy lifestyle that more and more people prefer these days is leading to many health problems and having consistent back pain is one of them.
When you start remaining lazy and inactive then your body starts to get rusted as well. An iron rod left somewhere for years gets rusted and then it can easily be broken or have problems when you try to bend it somehow; same goes with our body. Our body needs to stay active and in motion as much as possible in order to be in perfect operation. I am not saying that rest is not necessary but more of anything can turn out to be dangerous. You should not sleep more then 10 hours a day. If your age is in 50s or so and you are dealing with severe back problems and pain then I would suggest that you seek proper treatment through a doctor or an orthopedist. If the problem is at mild level then try to be active; walk and jog every day.
People think that resting is the cure for everything but it is not. A back that stays stiff for a longer period of time start to experience pain when it comes back into motion. You should join a gym and do some stretching exercises every other day so your muscles and bone joints stay toned up. Another essential tip would be to do pull-ups and push-ups right before you go to bed. Such stretching exercises make sure that your back stays in shape and does not get 'rusted.
You can also add up calcium and vitamin supplements to your diet that specifically target your bones and muscles. Milk is very beneficial as well so add it up to your breakfast every morning. You can also find out about a few back pain relief pills that you can carry with you incase the pain turns out to be severe when you are not at home.
